Cookie Policy
Pioneer Point sets no cookies. This page explains what that means in practice, what happens instead, and what would have to change before a single cookie appeared.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and to send back on later visits. Sites use them to keep you signed in, to remember preferences, and—most commonly—to recognise a browser across different websites for advertising and measurement.
This site sets none
Pioneer Point sets no cookies of its own, and permits no third party to set a cookie through it. There is nothing to list on this page because the list is empty. Specifically, there is no analytics cookie, no advertising or retargeting cookie, no conversion or tracking pixel, no social media embed, no session identifier and no preference cookie.
The reason is that nothing on this site needs one. There is no account to stay signed into, no form to remember, no shopping basket, and no advertising to measure. A cookie exists to carry state between requests, and this site has no state to carry.
It follows that there is no cookie consent banner on this site. A banner asking you to accept cookies on a site that sets none would be a false statement dressed up as a courtesy, and you would be consenting to nothing. Where you see no banner here, the correct conclusion is that there is nothing to consent to.
What happens instead
Two things, both described in full in the privacy policy.
Server logs. The hosting provider that delivers these pages records ordinary technical logs of each request: the IP address it came from, the browser user agent string, the URL requested, the response status and the date and time. This is a normal function of a web server and happens whether or not a site uses cookies. These logs are used to keep the site available and to investigate faults and abusive traffic, and they are retained for up to 30 days in the ordinary course.
Nothing else. This site makes no external requests at all. There is no content delivery network, no hosted script library, no embedded video, no map, no social widget and no web font: the typefaces used here are the ones already installed on your device. That means no third party learns that you visited this site, because no third party is contacted by it. It is an unusual position for a website in 2026, and it is deliberate.
Browser storage and fingerprinting
This site uses no localStorage, no sessionStorage and no IndexedDB. It writes nothing to your browser's storage of any kind. It performs no device or browser fingerprinting, and it does not attempt to identify or recognise a returning reader by any means.
The only JavaScript on the site is a single first-party file, assets/main.js, which you are welcome to read. It opens and closes the navigation menu on small screens, operates the dropdowns in the menu, and expands the answers on the questions page. It stores nothing, sends nothing anywhere, and does not change where any link goes.
Controlling cookies in your browser anyway
Although this site sets none, you may wish to manage cookies generally. Every major browser provides settings to block cookies, to block third-party cookies specifically, and to delete cookies already stored. These are usually found under a privacy or security section of the browser's settings, and most browsers also offer a private browsing mode that discards cookies at the end of the session.
Blocking all cookies will not affect this site in any way. It may affect other sites, particularly those that require you to sign in. The Australian Cyber Security Centre publishes general guidance on configuring devices and browsers securely.
If this ever changes
Kalos investing s.r.o. undertakes that no cookie, tracking script or third-party tag will be introduced to this site unless this page has first been updated to describe it accurately and an appropriate consent mechanism has been put in place. The policy and the mechanism would ship in the same change as the tag, before the tag went live, not afterwards.
